Our residents are supported by a fully qualified team of Registered General Nurses and Health Care Assistants. This team is guided by the management team:
Emma Mathison has worked at Hoylake Cottage since 2008 starting as an RGN, then becoming Team Leader on the Dementia unit and is now our Nursing Unit Manager/Registered Manager. When Emma is not at work, she enjoys walking her dog, cooking and looks after her own beehive.
Liz Burrell has worked at Hoylake Cottage since 2008, starting as the Finance Assistant and is now our Finance Manager/ Registered Manager. When she is not at work Liz spends her weekends doing agility training and competitions with her dogs.
Denise McGuigan has worked at Hoylake Cottage since 2010, starting as receptionist and then becoming PA to the Chief Executive, Denise has progressed over the years to now being our Business Support Manager. At weekends Denise loves to spend time with her 2 grandchildren.
We also have a dedicated Nursing Day Team Leader and Nursing Night Team Leader, ensuring we have full 24 hours support at all times.
The Nursing unit is ably backed by our dedicated Catering and Domestic teams as well as a small Administration team.
