The new Hoylake Cottage home is purpose built and was completed in July 2008. Accommodation is provided for 62 people in individual en-suite bedrooms situated over three floors and is furnished to the highest standard. Our Dementia floor is specifically designed and incorporates many dementia friendly features.
Nursing Care
We offer permanent nursing, dementia and respite care according to your needs. Hoylake Cottage provides residents with the highest standards of care, comfort and support, within a safe and homely environment. We provide nursing care to older people with varying levels of need. All of our residents have their own personal care plan, recognising their individual needs and wishes. Our friendly, experienced and trained teams ensure the social, physical and emotional requirements of residents are met through a person-centered approach to care. We aim to enhance quality of life by enabling people in our care to make informed choices about their daily life and we actively engage with residents and relatives, encouraging regular feedback to ensure people in our care maximise their independence throughout their stay. Our nurses are fully trained to care for the needs of the terminally ill ensuring those at the end of their life are kept as comfortable as possible.
Dementia Care
Hoylake Cottage has a history of expertise in providing good nursing care to people who are living with Dementia, Alzheimers or Parkinsons. Our quality care and attention is provided by a dedicated, friendly and professional team who ensure there are stimulating and wide- ranging activities which are organised on a daily basis within a safe, secure and enabling environment. Staff are trained in dementia care, and we have a Dementia nurse specialist as part of the team.

Concerns relating to safeguarding are always listened to and taken seriously, and we work in partnership with the relevant agencies across a full range of services.
